Freedom often begins by gently turning toward the parts of ourselves that feel unsafe, unseen, or stuck. It's through meeting these places with care and connection that lasting change becomes possible.

I have a special interest in trauma-informed therapy, using evidence-based somatic techniques to promote wellbeing.

Somatic therapies, combined with trauma release techniques like Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), can calm the nervous system and help improve focus, memory, and sense of presence.

My therapy focusses on collaborative pattern breaking without the need to dig into past traumatic experiences. If you would like to learn more, check out my therapy page or get in touch.

For professionaIs, I am a consultant for Frank Corrigan (the originator of Deep Brain Reorienting) in Levels 1,2 & 3 DBR training in Australia. Additionally, I am trained in DBR Interweaves, an advanced DBR training.

I also serve as an accredited senior facilitator of Trauma-Informed Stabilisation Treatment (TIST), founded by Dr. Janina Fisher.

For therapy, my process combines a variety of techniques to tailor sessions to suit individual needs, including:

  • Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR)
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Trauma-Informed Stabilisation
  • Treatment (TIST)
  • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy
  • Mindfulness

I am also trained in:

  • Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
  • Interpersonal Therapy
  • Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Schema Therapy

I am a clinically registered psychologist and member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. with over 25 years’ experience. I have worked extensively in both public and private mental health settings, gaining advanced training and experience in clinical care.

I am also a Psychology Board Approved Supervisor.

My qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology, an Honours Degree in Psychology and a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at Monash University.

For Australian clients, I am a registered Medicare provider. With an eligible referral from a doctor, clients can claim a rebate for part of their session costs.

My involvement in Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR)

I began training in Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) with Dr. Frank Corrigan in 2020, as part of a small group prior to the development of the current level-based training structure. By 2021, I had completed advanced-level training and began assisting Frank in delivering DBR Level 1, 2, and 3 trainings online — a role I continue to hold.

That same year, I joined an advanced experiential DBR group facilitated by Frank, which continued through to 2024. In 2025, I became part of a small, ongoing DBR consultant supervision group, also led by Frank, which continues to support my deepening understanding and integration of the work.

This ongoing involvement reflects my commitment to DBR as both a clinical method and a developing field of practice. It’s a privilege to stay closely connected to its evolution.
